Who likes “sugar-free” diet food? YEECHH!! Well that’s what it used to be
like many years ago, way back when the only diet soft drink you could find
was Tab, sweetened with saccharin! Remembering the taste of that still
makes me twitch in pain. In my personal opinion saccharin A.K.A. sweet n’ low
tastes best in tea, hot or cold and coffee.
Splenda and NutraSweet of course are the most preferred now for diet foods.
However, the pink stuff is far from forgotten, I would like to point out that lipton
makes an instant tea pre-sweetened with sweet n low. It’s sold in most
grocery stores in my area, and its great, it also comes in handy for the office
cubicle. Why just drink water from the water cooler when you can turn that
water into a cold glass of refreshing tea! Also I’d like to point out that Lipton
does have other flavors of instant tea made with aspartame A.K.A nutraSweet.

Another drink I love is sugar free Tang. I waited a long time for this one to hit
the shelves, I was surprised when I saw it in the store about a month ago. I’m
not sure how long it’s been out, but its a definite recommend.

Usually a diabetic breakfast may be something like bacon and eggs. Because
of the low impact it has on blood sugar, but research has shown that oat bran,
like the kind in oatmeal can be easy on the bloodsugar absorption rate. Eating
oatbran can ease high sugar spikes. One hot cereal that I really enjoy is Oat
Bran Hot Cereal from Hodgson Mill, it’s all natural and it tastes very good with
your favorite artificial sweetener. It doesn’t need any salt butter or milk for it to
taste good.

without dessert? Well now you can have your cake.. eeer PIE and eat it too. If
you look out there you usually can find sugar-free apple pie, but if you are
